Purchasing the business in 1979 from Bill Hogarth, Tony left behind the bustling city of Melbourne’s barbering scene, opting for a tree change.
Tony’s daughter, Jodie, undertook and completed her apprenticeship the early 90’s at the Shearing Shed before embarking on the lifetime dream of travelling and working overseas. Some 15 years later, after working in the UK and France, Jodie returned to Mansfield and took up the role of Managing Director at the Shearing Shed. Tony was appointed Chairman of the Board.
